This 3,150sf Sunset Park residence has a similar program to 24th St-1 three lots away. Building on ideas from previous projects, the full transformation of this traditional style home begins with a front porch addition, featuring V-columns with wood accent. The south/public portion of the house is rebuilt and expanded to create a voluminous open flow living/dining/kitchen, with signature skylights. The north portion is reconfigured to form two guest suites and a new primary suite. The two portions are joined together by service spaces, closets, utility, and built-in cabinets. A rear covered patio, also with V-columns, completes the transformation.
